About Mickey G. Roberts, Attorney at Law

Mickey Roberts Atlanta DUI attorney

Mickey Roberts has operated a successful private practice over 35 years as a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Gwinnett County Bar. After completing his undergraduate work at Mercer University and law school at Woodrow Wilson College of Law, Mickey went on to start a successful private practice and serve as Judge for both the City of Lilburn (15 years) and the City of Suwanee (14 years).

In 1996, Mickey shifted his practice to focus exclusively on traffic-law cases. He defends clients charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and/or drugs, vehicular homicide, and myriad other traffic-related crimes. In addition to traffic law, Mickey has successfully represented people accused of distribution and sale of illegal drugs, as well as prescription fraud, and he has been involved in injury cases collecting monetary damages for victims in excess of $2 million. Since 1996, 98% of Mickey’s contested DUI cases have resulted in a not-guilty verdict, a dismissal, or a plea to a lesser offense.

Mickey’s clients quickly find that he is different than most Atlanta area attorneys. He concentrates his practice on one very specific area of the law – criminal defense, and he has decades of experience. Your criminal case will be reviewed and handled by Mickey himself, who will work closely with you to ensure you have a thorough understanding of all of the facts and the laws applicable to your case. You will know up front what the fees are and all have the option to discuss payment plans, if necessary. Your personal injury case will be handled by Scholle Law, a personal injury law firm in the same Duluth office as Mickey.

Getting charged with any crime can be scary. Mickey knows that. He also knows that it can (and often is) even worse for individuals who do not hire an experienced, knowledgeable attorney. Those who choose to go it alone or accept the services of a public defender often find themselves facing license suspension, job loss, jail, hefty fines, high insurance rates, and thousands of dollars in related expenses.

Mickey is in court every week representing clients, and when he is not, he is researching and staying up to date on new developments in traffic law. Regardless of your case, Mickey Roberts has the reputation throughout the state of aggressively representing folks with honesty and integrity.
